We are currently in a period of organic growth and are looking for a NOC Engineer to join our Operations team. Work as part of a close-knit team of multilingual professionals, you will be supporting B2B customers worldwide.

Please note that this role covers 24/7 shifts (including nights, weekend, public holidays, and on-call, if necessary).

What you’ll do

The key focus of the role will be to maintain the integrity and optimal performance of our network infrastructure as well as of those of our customers. As a NOC engineer, your responsibilities include proactively monitoring network performance, swiftly resolving issues, and guaranteeing seamless connectivity. In this role, you will be utilizing specialized monitoring tools to swiftly detect anomalies and outages.

As a NOC engineer you will work together with other departments ensuring seamless implementation of any network upgrades. You will serve as the frontline support for customers, offering timely solutions as well as undertaking occasional tasks to enhance team performance.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Utilizing monitoring tools to assess the performance and capacity of network servers and applications.
  • Creating tickets for incidents and problems, directing them to the appropriate technical teams.
  • Escalate hardware, software, and environmental alerts or malfunctions promptly.
  • Collaborating to determine the root cause of any issues arising and following the appropriate escalation process.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining ongoing rapport to proactively ensure adherence to the relevant service level agreement.
  • Maintain up-to-date procedural documentation provided by our technical teams and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Proactively providing feedback on the effectiveness and efficacy of policies and procedures.

  • Previous knowledge and experience with Python, Unix and SQL
  • A willingness and capability of writing technical articles and procedures

  • Excellent speaking and writing English skills
